Roofs: Asphalt shingle roofs are the most porous and fragile of exterior surfaces and where Soft Washing Soap is needed most. Our Sodium Hypochlorite additive features surfactants that help to adhere the solution to the surface of the asphalt granules for the-time-it-takes for the solution to react with the algae (gloeocapsa magma). In addition, features foaming agents to indicate areas unrinsed. The benefit of using Soft Washing Soap and Sodium Hypochlorite on roofs is that damaging high pressure is not needed and that one can simply rinse the solution and dissolved algae from the surface of the roof with low pressure.

Siding: Home siding is horizontal, and the eves of the siding are perpendicular to the ground. Soft Washing Soap helps Sodium Hypochlorite stick to the up-and-down and upside-down surfaces that homes have. Featuring surfactants that help adhere the solution to the slickest of window trim, soffits, eves, siding and more. The benefit that Soft Washing Soap has on siding is reduced cycles of chemical application, rinse and repeat.

Concrete: Concrete, brick and stone unsealed and/ or unpolished are porous building materials and are often more fragile than expected. Soft Washing Soap enables Sodium Hypochlorite to dwell on top of the surface for long enough to loosen the dirt and algae. The benefit of loosening the dirt and algae is that it takes less pressure and less time to rise the surface off. We recommend pre and post treating these surfaces between washes.

Wood: Wood is absorbent, porous, and soft. The effects of pressure washing can swell and crack the wood in years to come. Soft Washing Soap keeps the chemical solution on the surface of the wood where the black, green and grey algae is for long enough for the chemicals to react. Enabling you to get the most benefit from your Sodium Hypochlorite.
